http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Breton_Island

There are pages for the town I grew up in (west side) the town I live in (east side) and the town our summer place is in (middle)...I use the term "town" loosely, lol, my hometown's population is about 600 and Iona, where our cabin is is even less....considerably less.

So here's some info on our island....I consider myself extremely lucky to call it home.:)

"Richmond has an immigrant population of 60%, the highest in Canada.[SUP]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richmond,_British_Columbia#cite_note-3[/SUP] More than half of its population is of Asian descent".

That's pretty much all you need to know about Richmond. Most of the shops downtown Richmond looks like the picture below, and some don't even put the name in English. I rarely see a person that isn't Asian down there. It gets frustrating when it's a struggle to just order food down there because their English is so bad. When the country allows everything to have a Chinese translation, they don't need to learn the language. At the end of my street is the border for Richmond and New Westminister. New West is like Richmond, just change the Chinese with East Indians. Never thought I'd be a minority living somewhere like Canada.

Uh, the museum of aviation looks amazing!

It's pretty cool, actually. I was there this time last year for my first 5K ever and I walked around w/ Jersey a little bit before the race started. I need to go back on a day when I can just walk around and actually take everything in. My mom used to work out on the base when we were growing up, actually...even "starred" in an educational video about airplanes, LMFAO
