Where would you prefer to live: Mountain or Ocean?

I don't. I see someone with more money than they know what to do with or they're really stupid lol

Let's build or buy a house really close to water and hope the water NEVER rises lol

Indeed..not to mention just going to the store is a pain..you have to get in the boat..go to land..get in your car get groceries..load groceries in car..take from car to boat..boat to house.

Now try that with say a new refrigerator.

I live, in the mountains, its pretty here, but there work involved. When I get a little older, I may move to the ocean shore. that's the great thing, if you don't like it some place you can move !

Where would you prefer to live, by the Ocean or, near/on a Mountain?

They're both so beautiful, I love the sound of the ocean lapping against the shore, but I also love the magnificent, breathtaking views of mountains!

Where would you prefer??

Lovely question. . If we are controlled by phobias, then the ocean would be scary seeing that there is the risk of flooding or tsunami (depending on your geographical location); and if you're in the mountains, there is the risk of a steep fall if you venture out from the plateau. But hey! life is about fun and adventure. I would prefer the mountains however, because I am more the solitary type of person who likes my seclusion and peace. The mountain would be that hide away where I could even shout and not be disturbed. I just don't want to be too far from facilities and services in town.

I like that quote.:thumbup If you don't like it somewhere you can always move...that's so true. It does get boring at times to be in one place. I know although I love the mountains I wouldn't want to be there everyday.

I live on top of a mountain with a 3/4 mile lane to the dirt road in the valley. Would not have it any other way. I like my privacy and being surrounded by wildlife instead of people.

Right in the middle of an ocean on an Island all by myself. I've always had this fascination with living by the ocean and being surrounded by water on all sides. Barring any major catastrophes like a tsunami, this I believe this would be the perfect place to live.

I love the ocean. I find it very relaxing. I would love to live by the ocean. Every time I going to the shore, it seems to rejuvenate me.

I used to live next to the ocean...I miss it in a way yes...but nothing beats land lol.

Being someone who lives in a country with tropical climate it definitely wouldn't be an ocean. I hate the excessive sunlight. A mountain on the other hand seems like a perfect getaway. If it's for life, all the better.

I would want to live in the mountains. I like the untamed beauty of them. I also like the magnificent views and the peacefulness of the mountains. I would like to live in a big log cabin and only have to visit civilization for supplies. I would like the quiet and solitude vs the noise.and pollution of the cities.

It's a tough choice. Both are beautiful. If I have to choose, I prefer mountain because I have concerns of humidity living near ocean.

Mountains for me. Although, you could have the best of both worlds if you lived in Vancouver.
