Once Franklyn rolled out of bed for the second time, we went to New Braunfels with a white German Shepherd to deliver to my children:

Nobody ever said a birthday shouldn't be filled with gifts for all!

I opened my gift from the children, a shiatsu massager, and spent some time with them and explained about Mischka's (the dog) past, and how they were to raise her with all the love they could. She definitely needs some tlc.

Afterwards, Franklyn and I were driving back through and stopped off to purchase cloves for his mother...and I was carded. When I told the guy he should give me a gift, he threw in an extra pack for free. lol

Franklyn made dinner tonight. I have no cake, but don't really want one anyway. We'll be having a shower later for -ahem- dessert...

The kids bought me a shiatsu massager so I can lie back and relax while it does its work to undo the knots the headaches and stress cause. And a card that put down their father, which of course, I totally enjoyed.

The dog that I delivered to them on Wednesday has turned out to be a really good one as far as the ex is concerned. He's happy with her, so I guess she really turned out to be HIS dog instead...which is fine. Just so long as she's cared for better than her last owners were capable of...

I'm off to take a shower...gonna see if the bf wants to join in so I can really enjoy it... lmao
