In 2002 Congress passed a law that President Bush signed into effect that foods must be labeled to show the country they came from. But the law was not effected due to lobby groups that got the law put on hold until a later date, the set backs for enforcement were done twice and so many foods are still not labeled, namely meat and fresh produce, or contents of boxed foods.

In a CNN poll 100 percent of the veiwers want the foods labeled. Concerns of potential terrorist contamination being one reason.

What do you think?

I really don't care one way or the other. I really don't look at where my food came from when I buy it...does anyone do that?? All I know is when I'm hungry I eat, and if I want a certain food I buy it...who cares where it's from.

I don't care one way or another.

I'm not particularly worried about terrorists attacking my food, and the whole concept of "air miles" on food (if you're concerned with eating environmentally friendly) isn't a good way to determine how big of an impact the food had environmentally.

I mean, it's probably nice to know where you're buying from, but it's not exactly the biggest issue, I think.
