Growing up I was always told after nine am I had to go outside. I come in at twelve for lunch. Back outside at one. When my father whistled I was go home home for supper. If I missed the whistle I would not get supper. If I wanted to watch tv or play video games I had to ask for promission. That is basically the guidlines I will use with my own childeren. Make for a great imagination and builds people skills that kids lack. Also the phisical activity a child needs. When winter comes around then it is indoors. Just no TV.
