I had a pair of jeans like that, they were frayed on the bottoms and it started creeping upwards....I'd had them for like 5 years! They were LEI's and they were SO comfy!! Ah jeans are jeans. If you are just hanging around in em who cares. Now wearing them to work on Casual Friday...that's a different story. I have bought a couple of jeans in my day that equal more than $150 bucks. However that was before a house and a new car and so on and so forth.....

My problem is when I'm out mingling.... I tend to wear alotta light washes and they tend to keep ground in dirt moreso than darks. I have a few pairs in the dryer i have to look over.
