When is it appropriate to get in a bar fight?

I am 26 years old and I have never gotten in a drunk fight. I have yelled, but never thrown punches.

Last night I went to a friend's birthday event at a bar. I got a little tipsy.

There was a girl there I don't like AT ALL. She's done some bad things to my brother and she is a whore - literally

But seeing as it was my friend's birthday, I was nice and I gave this girl a hug hi when she asked for it, etc. You know - nice and no drama for my friend's birthday.

Well this girl - her name is Jamie - she was like talking shit about me - I could hear her. But I ignored her. She was just trying to get to me. I didn't want to give her the satisfaction.

Towards the end of the night she comes up to our table, points to a guy sitting across from me and yells "distraction." When we all look over, she reaches across the table, and grabs my breast and squeezes HARD. I have bruises now!

I didn't immediately react because I was in shock. But once I got out of it, and realized I actually hurt and sat there for a few minutes and saw her grin at me from the other table and continue to talk shit about me, I saw red.

My two guy friends had to escort me to my car and drive me home. And I mean they had to fight me to my car almost the whole way.

I wanted to hit her so bad.


My question is - assuming that in life everyone is allowed one bar fight. This would have been a good time for one right?

Most bar fights I see are pathetic, usually two drunks fighting over a woman or a drunk who dosent like the way he imagined that you just looked at him ect. Last time I punched someone in a pub or club was about a month ago when some drunk prick spat at me. Dirty cunt deserved the beating he got for that!

Janie..... Has this 'whore' ever touched you or gotten in your face prior to this? Did anyone else at your table see what she did to you? How tipsy were you?

Answers to those questions are needed in order for me to make a good call on what I would have done if it had of been me in your situation.


However...... No one has a right to lay one finger on me.... or you. If someone I did not like at all did this to me.... and I wasn't too tipsy..... and once the surprise attack had sunk in..... I'd have explained to my friends at the table what had happened... in case they had missed it.... and what I was now about to do. Then I would quietly get up..... walk over to the 'whore'..... ask her why she did what she did and say what it was she just did... just to hear what she had to say..... not that it would matter at this point..... but to inform her friends at her table why I was gonna do what I was gonna do next.

I'd ask her to please step outside with me so we wouldn't cause a scene. If she refused.... I'd smack her across the face so hard that the whole bar would hear it. And I'd be prepared to defend myself from that point on if she thought about retaliating.

After it was all said and done.... I'd explain later to the birthday friend the why I did what I did thing. If she was your friend, she'd understand.



..... but since you were dragged out and taken home..... you have nothing to explain to anyone about. However, if it were me.... this wouldn't be over until I hashed it out with the 'whore'. No matter where..... no matter when..... no matter how much time goes by.
