Here in Matagalpa Nicaragua where I live we have two kinds of weather throughout the year, dry and rainy.
During the dry season it is usually very hot and well dry and during the rainy season we get a lot of rain. Especially in October all during the time it is hurricane season in the States because some of the rain from the hurricanes reaches us here.
Every once in a while if it has been raining for quite some time without much sunny sky, it can get a bit nippy since Matagalpa happens to be up in a more mountainous region of the country.
I'm in Lisbon and the temperature today is around 20ºC (68F) and so far it is not raining, but summer time is gone, the last days it has been raining non-stop.
Oh god! Yesterday was the windiest day EVER! (Probably not literally, but it sure felt like it). On second thoughts, it feels like that every other day in Wellington. SO nothing new. Cold. Wet. Wind. Ah. Home.
Here in Grenada, all I can see is blue skies and a few patches of clouds. According to the thermometer the temperature is approx. 80F, but I know this will rise drastically by midday.
17 degrees Celsius but grey and windy. What will be interesting is the potential storm that is brewing at the moment. Apparently it will hit on Monday and will be the worst storm to hit the UK in years. Hurricanes, torrential rain, and it will creep from the south so London might get hit this time as opposed to just the North which usually happens.
London - storm is rolling! It's sunny now but really windy and it's gonna rain anytime, I hope I can make it hope before it starts!
It's cool and refreshing though, I love wind, it gives me feeling of freedom.
