well, after working retail and seeing holidays dwindle down to three I feel those who I worked with and wonder if they really are more worried about the money they make or the family time that is taken from them

Ribs for brunch? Sounds like a plan. I am just working around the farm while the wife went to a mile long yard sale. The neighbor girls always get together for it and usually come back exhausted and sunburned.

Ate a lot, went to a cemetery to watch fireworks from a big hill and then got caught in the inevitable traffic on the way back.

It was interesting experiencing a 4th of July for the first time here (as I'm visiting) but the biggest cheer from the crowd came for the mobile In-n-Out burger truck as it papped before it left.
