OK boyz and girlz nothing to dirty. I'm being serious. Now im not just asking whats a good line, but even a great icebreaker or way to approach a woman/man.

I have found this to work, If you happen to exchange eye contact with your person of interest, Smile, and walk over. Say "hey im (your name)." and i try to gauge if there body language is inviting me to talk more or leave. Kinda just go with the flow. Im pretty good at making random but somewhat interesting conversation. anything to keep her interested really.

But as far as a non-perverted line goes this ones not to shabby.

A guy who uses a line the 1st time I talk to him kinda already gets negative points, no matter how good the line is. It just seems if he has to use a line, then he's either trying to charm his way in or else he's such a playa and that's his MO. I'd rather a guy just be real. If I'm at the grocery store check-out line, he can maybe notice what I'm buying and ask, "How do you cook that?" or "What fruit is that, I've never tried it before?" Or at a club, even just asking, "Do you know where the bathroom is?" (as long as it's not so obvious that it looks like he's retarded). In other words, just asking or saying normal things for the first convo is better than the 1st impression that you're a bad stand-up comic. Now after that initial ice-breaker, if he wants to throw out some cutesy compliments once we seem to be getting along, then that's okay.

K i follow what you mean. and totally agree. But lets say its in a bar setting where its kinda hard to approach somebody and make a comment that hasnt been heard before.
Its not so easy to approach somebody and make a "normal" comment. I guess i should have mentioned that this was mainly intended for the bar setting

Yeah i hear what ya mean. Its a given, your not going to find Mr. or Mrs. right at a bar. It is a meat market (well put). I have found that those random questions about your surroundings and such, are great for making conversation but not the greatest in making a lasting impression....some girls play striaght up hard to get, and us guys gotta have somethin witty, funny or stand outish to even make an impression it seems sometimes.

i agree, they are probably high maitenence. which sucks in a relationship but can be alright for a one night stand. (majority of people who go to a bar are looking for that). I find down to earth people easier to get along with, i know it sucks when you feel like you need to say a phenominal line but when its a busy bar and theres 4 other guys doin the same thing you gotta stand out. See, i go to the bar with my guy friends alot, and i know it sound bad, but its almost a game. Some woman love the game to. maybe thats why they say "damn that playa's got game". i mean thats where the whole game term derived from when referring to your ability to pick up woman.....but now im just rambling. good convo tho
