Out here we had a super super mild summer, barely any days over 100°F, but it's been 20°F hotter here than normal for the last week and a half now. It's November, and we're in the mid-80s for some unknown reason. Then we're finally supposed to get down to the 60s sometime next week. Just bizarre weather patterns out here this year.

The weird weather is directly related to global warming. Whether it's man made or a natural cycle is for another discussion.
But because the earth is warming very slightly, the atmosphere is retaining much more moisture than typical. This alters the weather patterns and dry area get dryer and wet areas get a lot more rain. It will also alter the jet stream so you get bigger swings in hot and cold. It just messes with the weather patterns
