Well that is the correct answer Alien. I suppose your talking about the ratio of black children to parents which is...? only 30 % of black children have a father figure? Im not going racist, but trying to deal in facts. But the answer to life is certainly taking responcibility for raising children and to do it to the best of your ability. Why else do we exsist? We are here to better our DNA and improve it....right?

I went for a 4 mile walk and on the sports talk radio they were addressing the problems in Detroit.
I do not see any hope for it ever until parents are held accountable. 2 weeks ago a 12 year old kid shot and killed a 24 year old woman at midnite. Where in the hell were the parents. Or should I ask where was the mother as it seems fathers for the most part are non existent
Until Detroits schools are better the kids have no future. But until the parents hold the school system accountable that will never happen. My wife works in the burbs at one of the best school districts in the country. By a huge margin the superior kids in the district are Asian. It got to be a joke with my daughters when they excelled as to how they ever beat out an Asian for a particular thing. There is a reason these Asian kids are superior and it has nothing to do with genes. It is the parents involvement
From what I know of you ,yes....sleep is good for you. But your a good mother and good mothers need sleep a plenty. I dont imagine youve ever slept more than 6 hours at a time...

I would move my family out of these areas. But that does not address issues and does not solve americas problems. And a lot of people can not afford to move. If these thing were happening in my area I would get out and not subject my children to this.
A lot of people like that movie...I take it your over 30 or 40....I like it for being off the wall...I like Malcolm Mcdowel in "Cat People" the most.

Is that the best you can do? Flaming hot!!! I need to get that on DVD. I just got the movie "The Others" with Nicole Kidman. Great movie...but I hate period movies...but great with no special effects...the best kind. Simple but good. I watch it over and over.

Back to my thread ....one of the best things I ever did in my life was to move my family out of a bad nieghborhood. It cost me a lot. But in the end it worked out. It was my business.
