ya ria, wasn't there a lot more posts? i hate valentines day. i don't celebrate it. im always alone on valentines day. kinda makes me sad

I have never had anything for Valentine's, never will, but I don't let it worry me. Even when young I didn't. I just thought that there's no point anyway, having an unsigned card, I would want to know if someone is keen on me or how they ever ever gonna know, or how would we get together otherwise. That's how I used to think anyway.
When it has never happened, it really isn't a problem.
in my lifetime, Vday has ALWAYS been a commerical gimmick! Consumers are the ones who make it that way though...the companies wouldn't profit so much if we didn't take the bait! My husband NEVER buys me flowers or chocolate or anything like that! We usually just go to dinner and he buys me something i want...more along the lines of a bday or christmas type present.
Jennie already knows what she is getting so it doesn;t matter if I say anything. Some wine from a local winery. And maybe something else, we'll see. And it really has nothing to do with the holiday, just so happens I was able to acquire some recently.
