I have a footnote to my carrot cake I made yesterday.... It called for the bag of raisins & carrots to be soaked in 1 1/4 hot water. I got a brilliant idea and added 1/8c of rum first then added the water. That cake is awesome!! It's almost tempting next time to add a full quarter of rum but I think that might be too much? It really added to the depth of flavor.. It was a Duncan 'Decadent' mix. Or something like that...

Tonight I sliced the pork from yesterday and made sammys. Leaving plenty of room for more CAKE afterwards...
