Grassland now gobbled by cows wd be used for wheat....20 times the poundage of food resulting. Thus no hunger if politicos wish no hunger. Now, we are eating into world's reserves of food. Hmmmmmmmmmm. Not good!

Millions of animals would be needlessly slaughtered as man wouldn't be able to support feeding cows, pigs, sheep ect for no reasons. Lots of species would be made extinct, the whole natural balance would be seriously disrupted and I dread to think what that would mean long term. Also there would be a lot more weedy, annoying preaching pussies everywhere.
Ignore those fields that governments pay to keep fallow, Tang. 
I wonder if the experts really know what would likely happen if everyone decided to stop eating meat.
Wouldn't happen besides species would overpopulate and throw the system out of whack...

Humans are onivores. We eat fruits, veggies and meat. Animals kill each other all the time and eat eachother, why shouldent we? You can normally tell an animals diet by their teeth. Cows have flat teeth due to the fact they only eat plant life, as dogs have all sharp teeth because due to their diet they eat flesh. As humans we have sharp and flat teeth. If we werent meant to eat certain food's, we woulkdent be able to. If my dog eats grass, she pukes it up because her dygestive system isnt made for it. Our's is made for meat and plant life.
Many animal rights activists are not vegatarians or vegans.

A full long painfree life, surrounded by other caring beings should be the life of all good beings on this planet.
Eating animals shortens their lives and lowers their worth, leading often to cruel mistreatment.
We will live better if we rise above our origins - war, wagetheft, no science, hangings, no agriculture, warlords, and eating beings that have a face (i.e. meat-eating) .
In short, go up from an atmosphere of cruelty to an atmosphere of kindness.

If animals could be guaranteed to be treated kindly and humanely Palzz, before being put to sleep as gently as possible and then used for food, would that still be a huge problem?
I don't like the idea of animals being treated cruelly, but I also don't think there's anything wrong with eating them once they're dead.

Thats nice you care about the Animals feelings and all. I garuntee you a Tiger, Lion or Bear wouldent give a shit about your feelings. Its natural for life to eat other life. I was vegetarian for the first 11 years of my life, I thank God every day I eat meat now. Being vegetarian is lame. Unless your into that shit, go for it... but i like not having to read the label on every little thing i buy.
