I used to sit next to a boy in English Language A Level who was convinced The Streets were the greatest band of all time. He would go on about how their songs will last forever "like the Doors or Nirvana" and his coursework was him analysing their song lyrics.

shinedown
cant remember the rest cause those were my favs
puddle of mud played last and they played 1.5 hours longer than the show was supposed to last
they were freakin awesome
shinedown's singer made a speech about how he was no different from anyone and that anyone can do what he is doing and they should
excel to the highest of what makes them happy no one is stopping them except themselves anyone can do anything if they set their minds to it

You get some people like that, when I was young, I think a boy was so much into David Bowie, analysing every detail of lyrics...I went "Pfft.....mad" :24: I can't see why he is comparing The Streets to the Doors, even though I don't particularly like them. Nirvana? What a nutter, lol

Eve 6 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood in Dec. '10. I don't go to concerts all that often if you couldn't tell. :24:

The first and only concert I went to was with a friend of mine back in 2002. He was a huge fan of Glam Rock from the 80's. We saw Cinderella and Poison in Manchester, New Hampshire, USA.

Those groups glory days were over, as their weren't that many fans at the concert.

I think it would be the Klezmar Rebs, who are a local folk band who often have concerts in my city. They're very good, but I think their clarinetist was in prison at the time and he was the best member of the band, so it was slightly disappointing.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band twice during the Wrecking Ball Tour and Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes in July.

Oh and hoping to get tickets tomorrow for the Light of Day Benefit Show for January.
