What Type of Music Do You Like?

Personally I like rap, a lot of people don't like rap, but it's just personal preference I guess.
My favorite artists are Wiz Khalifa and Mac Miller, they're both geniuses in their choice of beats.

My three favorite types of music are hip-hop, r and b, and modern dance music, as I love the energy these types of music has to offer, despite the fact that these forms of music are often repetitious.

I try and be open minded and listen to just about anything...my tastes run all over the spectrum...rock, pop, folk, opera, classical, alternative, country, electronica and much more...I think the only kinds of music I can't seem to tolerate for any length are death metal (though heavy metal is quite acceptable) and this new dubstep stuff that the kids are listening to nowadays...

I listen to everything and anything. But my favourites are all the sub genres of metal, but in particular djent and melodic death metal. As well as instrumental post rock and classic rock, as well as lots of classical music Schubert, Vivaldi etc. All the listed stuff is on constant rotation.

Like a few of you guys my tastes are varied and it usually depends on my mood or what I'm doing.

When I'm in need of some serious concentration I like instrumental music.
When I am hang up the washing or doing house work I like something a bit more up tempo like pop, some indie, rock or jazz.
If I'm feeling sad I listen to indie, blues, classical or slow pop.
If I'm happy as long as it doesn't talk about killing yourself or taking selfies, I'm an open book, whatever is next on my playlist or spotify suggests I listen to.

I remember when I was growing up. I would watch shows like the head bangers ball on Mtv. Back when they played videos and not shows about knocked up teenage chicks. I was really into 80's rock and metal. Now im much older and I listen to mostly country.

I listen to a variety genres but my most listened to would probably be rap/hip hop and country. I pretty much say I will listen to almost anything both in English and Spanish. I'm not fluent in Spanish but can understand a lot and well I have many friends who are Latino and I've always enjoyed going to Latin clubs and dancing. My favorite Latin genre would probably be Reggaeton.

I mainly listen to all sorts of rock and metal music. It's because in my opinion rock and metal songs have the best lyrics, at least the bands I listen to, some metal songs are just about pointless screaming, but there are beautiful stories or powerful messages in a lot of metal songs. Personally, I can't stand rap or hip-hop music, to me it's just someone talking fast about drugs, money and prostitutes.

I like listening to Bach, Beethoven, Schoenberg. I mainly listen to pieces played on piano. Genres are very wide so I don't judge them or say I listen to a certain one. Classical music is stereotyped as relaxing or peaceful but a lot of what I've heard is quite fast and intense.

Personally I like listening to trip-hop, hip-hop, electronic, and ambient music. I actually like listening to a lot of other genres as well it really depend on my mood. One of the only genres I don't listen to very often is country but I do like Johnny Cash!
