Well most, as long as music involves someone learning something and putting in some heart... sitting at a computer and putting noises together always results in soulless drivel.

Rock, Reggae, folk, funk, indie .. mainly indie etc. etc.

like everyone else I tend to be fairly eclectic. Though Goth / Industrial, EBM, Thrash/Speed Metal and Heavy Metal top the lists... that and Classical (think Tchaikovsky not Led Zeppelin)

I used to like modern heavy metal. However, the lyrics are often too negative for me. So I no longer listen to it.

However, I still listen to hip-hop and r and b. The lyrics are often negative, but at least the rythm is usually upbeat.
