I won't lie and say that my childhood was all rainbows and unicorns, but there were some good memories. I remember we used to go to this place to swim and, in order to get to the river, you had to walk along this wall that was probably 50 feet tall. Then you had to jump a good 2 - 3 feet over a gap (while 50 feet up) and then scale down the wall. My dad would put me on his back and jump across. Thinking about it now it's really stupid b/c we could've easily fallen to our deaths, but we had some GREAT times at that place.
Also, my family was big into sports. My brother was a star football and baseball player (baseball more than anything...I wish he had stayed in school b/c he could have easily gone pro if he had stuck w/ it), my dad was a coach, my mom was a team mom, and I was a cheerleader. I loved those times.
And a random silly memory that is still one of my favorites to this day...my dad took my brothers camping/hunting and I stayed home w/ my mom. We had Dairy Queen Blizzards for dinner. I thought it was the greatest thing EVER, LOL
