funny that we Canadians hosted relics of the past ( the Brit Monarcahy) to celebrate our day and you guys shortly after celebrate kicking their asses out

history lesson: Declaration of Independence was just that a Declaration and since there was no formal national government the war that ensued assured a formation of a national government to be free of England's rule over the colonies. Many historians argue that if the United States had shown any ability to form a national government that the British may have seen this and allowed the new country of America to be without bloodshed. that was just a few who thought the peaceful way was the way to go;....
