What got you interested in forums?

Earning money and learning new things are two of the reasons I became interested in forum websites. Many years ago, I began with Mylot and Forum Coin.

Same here I just like to earn money all the times so I know where that can be done ae well.

Got into message boards back in the '90s. First real forum was a performance car forum that had a few local members. Was really useful for tech advice, club insurance, and parts for my first Skyline project.

I joined Boddudan( an Indian website) for article writing. It accepted only Indian users. They had wonderful forum discussions there that were meaningful and knowledgeable. So, along with writing articles there, I joined their forum discussions and enjoyed it. From there, I came to know of Forum Coin and then many more.
I earned some decent money from Boddudan before it shut down. It had some great members who were experts on politics, finance, home improvement etc.

Having ti discuss things with other people is one of the things that got me interested in forums and then with the fact that I will be able to learn some news things and ideas from other peoples take on a particular topic of discussion.

I have been with forum posting for few years now and I have benefited a lot from them. Today I know more things about finance, business, poltics, entertainment etc. So, I would say that I have seen some personal growth too. I am able to engage in more variety of discussions both offline and online.

I would say that forums are a good way for me to stay engaged and productive during the free time I get. I have restricted my time to the online activities so that my offline obligations are not impacted.

I agree with that learning and also you can making friend ( difficult but can happen )
It is not something i mention but some friends i make online help me a lot not that they did anything but
take my mind of lots of other stuff was enough
especially one couple... we seen each other sometimes as we lived in the same city
he pass away few years ago and she moved back to New Zealand
anyway to make it short they were there for me in my worsted time when i even thinking to kill myself

…I’m glad that they were there for you for some of your darker moments, Astra…..and that helped you so much… on a community forum such as this, it’s good to realise and feel confident that there is always someone to talk to who is only a PM away…….

I think something that attracted me to forums was that I could discuss things with each other, share information with each other, make new friends, besides getting money in return for what I did on forums.
