When you add the stomach's normal emptying time to the usual transit time through the intestines, it adds up to way more than 2 hours.
Granted, the effects of peristalsis after a meal may be evident in 2 hours.
But are you saying it you eat that corn-on-the-cob for dinner at 6 pm, you'll see it at 8 pm?
