ok this came up in conversation tonight with me and another forum member. What do you call the meal after lunch I call it supper some call it dinner Im just curious what majority says I dunno maybe its a regional thing

I call it supper myself.
I call it dinner, supper is a meal you have just before you go to bed.
Just depends on which word I think of using first, I'll use them both though.

i call it supper. me and a co-worker of mine were also discussing this as well and he also calls it supper.
I call it dinner aswell.... supper to me is a snack or something if you have had your dinner too early..

supper is what we call it too - well, if we had supper that is, which we don't cos too full after dinner usually.
I don't say a anck (meaning at lunch time), I say a snack for lunch.
