What did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was little I wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. But as I got older I wanted to be the lead singer in a rock band.

I wanted to be a basketball player when I was younger. I am still striving for this as well. Its no where near to late either for me, little do you all know lol . Tells you I'm younger than most on this forum. Although I think I may reach this goal some day, I push myself hard enough I believe.

When I was a child, I wanted to be a teacher. That didn't happen. When I graduated from the University, I worked for a software firm in the Customer Care Department. Currently, I am a freelancer working on translation.

When I was young, I used to want to be Miss America LOL But then, it went to wanting to be a Teacher. THEN I changed it to becoming an SRO at the schools because my school SRO really took great care of me.

I ended up joining 911. Ive worked 911 since Jan 30, 2002.. I was promoted over the years to Corporal and Sergeant and in 2015, I moved to becoming a training officer, which I loved because I got to TEACH. Now, I am the assistant director of our 911 center.

When I was a kid and growing up, I always wanted to be either a teacher or a teaching assistant. I did go to college and take a course for this and I have worked in schools as a teaching assistant but due to my health issues, I had to take a change of course for my career.

I now work from home as a freelance writer which I enjoy but I would have loved to have stayed working as a teaching assistant if I could have.

I wanted to be a a vet or a paleontologist. I've always had a love of animals, science, history... and now that I have a better understanding of who I am and what I love, my wishes back then don't seem so random anymore. I would still love to work in the sciences somewhere, but that won't be happening.. I'll just continue to obsess over the world around me and where it all came from.

Also.. if you could do anything for a living right now, what would you choose to do?

I think I'm already doing something for a living. I just want to be professional with my writing to earn a lot more money
