So what did everyone do for Thanksgiving? Did you remember to give thanks for everyone and everything in your life you have to be thankful for? Did you start decorating for Christmas?

We went to my parents Thursday. I made most of the food while my parents each made their own turkey. It was all so superb! I loved every bit. Maybe a little too much. I was so stuffed. And yup I actually took my first after Thanksgiving feast nap! Loved it!

Friday I worked, which sucked, but then went to my grandparents. I didn't stay there long as I was hoping to get home and start Christmas decorating. Yea....that didn't happen. I didn't get home til about 9 and there was no way I was going to start decorating.

Saturday I had to go back to my parents so we could have a left over day and that way my sister and her fiance could join us. It was still great, but again I didn't get home in time to start decorating! I was sad!

Today I AGAIN had to go out to my parents, but that's just cuz I had laundry to do. Yes I ate more yummy left overs. And I FINALLY got home early enough to start decorating! WOO. As I was digging stuff out though I found that almost half of my decorations were destroyed from flooding this summer. It made me super sad! :(

I want to see lots of responses BTW lol I have tokens to pay back and posts help me. :D
 
Thanksgiving was spent with family and friends. .... and yes.... I always give thanks for my family/friends/health etc.

The Christmas Tree was put up Saturday. I decorated it and the inside of the house all day today! Along with cleaning, cooking, etc.

Oh! And yesterday I bought a new four (4) telephone receiver set. The base is on my desk in the great room. One is in my bedroom. One is in the living room. One is in the guest bedroom.

Get this! It has intercom capabilities. I can pick up an extension in one room and call the extension in the other room. How cool is that?!!!! Plus.... I can transfer a call that comes in that is for someone else to the phone closest to them in a different room. This summer I plan on having hubby carry one when he ventures outside or into the garage to tinker. That way when supper's ready or I just want him.... I can intercom him. LOL! He's gonna so get tired of that.

Oh... and it's back to work on Monday. I've been off work for the last five days... so.... :(
 
I got called in to work. :( I got up early and went to Golden Corral w/ mom to eat (decided to try it this year so we both wouldn't be killing ourselves making Thanksgiving dinner and cleaning up). That didn't work out too well...definitely missed my mom's dressing. Then we went to my brother's house to see everyone...we didn't eat there. Then I had to get ready for work...came to work and ate Thanksgiving dinner w/ the shift here. Still no decent dressing this year. :( Dinner was good, though, but I'm still sad about my dressing. :(
