What did you do for the last long weekend of summer?

I would like to hear what some of you did.
As for me, nothing to special. Partied at my friends place for the majority of the weekend and got quite hammered each day. Nothing to special, but oh well.

Well.. I went to the beach Sunday and Monday.. played some volleyball... played with my niece and nephew in the ocean... got pounded by a few waves (serves me right for going there with a hangover, i guess) at night... we (as in all of monmouth county!) went to this place called donovan's reef... there's a few bars outside, then you go over the sea wall, and theres a tiki bar.. they have a band that plays out on the beach and you just chill out have a ball...

Friday we had family night and watched a movie together.
On Saturday, we all went to a Diamondbacks game.
Sunday, we went to church and then did homework and laundry all day.
On Monday my family went to a pool party and bbq. I was sick with allergies so I stayed home and did homework.

It was a nice weekend.

saturday went to a pig roast at tim's brothers house...there was just so much food. sunday was a relax day for tim and i. And monday we went to my moms for food. it was a pretty good weekend.

hung out at gregs friday night. did nothing saturday night. went golfing sunday morning. Went back to gregs for a small cookout monday afternoon.

Between that i mowed and had dinner at my parents... then sulked around being lazy and playing guitar hero. I never once touched my guitar all weekend for some stupid reason.

I was playing GH with my brother for many many hours. I can rock out on hard now Took a few tries, but I got through Sweet Child with like a 76%.

I feel ya, I couldn't muster much past 80% at first, but I've been practicing (solos 2a, 2b the bridge and 3a) If I can get past those 100%...

On hard I'm hitting 96% now. Only a matter of time before I get it perfected!

for really good practice on hammerons and pulloffs i like trying less talk more rokk on expert. its actually not that hard, and since it goes so fast everybody watching is like "holy hell!"

I like that song on hard but I'm not even that good at it. Expert has me stuck at Freya. I cannot get past it.

expert has me stuck at physcho billy freakout. ive gotten 66%. but i'm just tired of trying. I dont even play GH2 that much anymore. its always funny to watch somebody try it for their first time. haha. they forget to strum, and dont know what you mean when you say, "tilt it"

I participated in a rodeo this past weekend. And the key word was participated. None of the bull riders stayed on for the whole 8 seconds including myself. So nothing won and nothing lost I guess.
