What Country Fits Your Idea of Freedom?

The only other free nations I've visited are poor nations in the Carribean. So it's hard for me to say if their are other nations that fit my idea of freedom as much as the U.S.

I'd live in any of the latter three (plan to be Canadian next year! ), I don't know much about San Marino lol.
*At 97% Catholic, San Marino is not a place I would live lol

It must be so weird if you've lived all your life in a nation run by a dictator and then come to the U.S. where people are constantly and openly complaining about the government.

There are places where you will find more freedom, but a lot of the time that depends on your skin colour and your asset base.

For those of you who got U.S. on top, I wonder what criteria it was? My guess is one criteria: gun rights crucial. Hmm when I selected gun rights crucial, Switzerland came up No.1 and U.S. No.2. Interesting.

When drug rights are crucial: (I'm not a "drug" user, although I drink alcohol and probably would partake of weed if it was legal.)
