I could drive, but there is no point and my $81/month Metro Card is alot cheaper than a car payment/insurance/fuel/maintenance on a car.

I have been their twice. The last time was last summer on a trip east. We stayed up on the West Side not far from the Lincoln tunnel. I figured we would do some driving around as we were there 3 days. No friggin way. It took 45 minutes to go from the Holland Tunnel up the Lincoln Tunnel which is about 2 1/2 miles. And the cab drivers and drivers period are assholes who never let you in. :willy_nilly:

Yes, I live work and play in Manhattan, I use Mass Transit for everything.

I just bought a new car at the start of November last year, its a metalic burgandy type of colour Nissan Micra.
I am SO in love with it, we named her tinkerbell, because she is a disney princess fairy type of thing whos got a whole lot of attitude.
Also owned a Daewoo Nubira, Mitsubishi Magna and a Subaru Liberty...technically I took that from my ex in the divorce so wasnt really mine, had it for a few months before I crashed and totalled it...not on purpose ofcourse.

My brother had a Chevelle SS that was around 1974 ish

Had a 427 engine

Auto trans.

Only car I ever was in where if you punched it doing about 20 MPH it would lay a patch when it shifted gears the first time. Chevy made some awesome engines back then

I had a stall converter put in my 69 Goat. Some ridiculous 3500rpm monster. I had to floor the car just to get it to move :24:

But crusin' around 50 or so and punch it from there was like hittin a nitro button :eek

Finally came to my senses and traded it out for a 2500 - better match for my 400 :thumbup

my brother would know what rear end it had. He was more into cars then me. But far as I know it was all stock. Not sure if he would have ordered it with a different rear end if that is even possible. Doubt it is as I never saw that as an option in any car I bought. But then I usually bought off the lot. I got my Firebird looking for a used one. It was many months after the next year models were out. Just happened to call a deaerl who had one mothballed. That car damn near killed me a few times.

when my father used to take me to the car shows i fell in love with them when i was right next to it when the dude started it and it was love in first start up. but it was a pro street version. over 500 Cubes, Tubbed with huge slicks, all the bells and whistles. it was crazy. Dark Blue 70 i believe :thumbup

Actually i owned about 4 at one time ....

The 91 i had for 8 years and at one time i had the 70, 72, 87, 85 and one of the camaros ......And some i did fix up and sale a couple i kept for a while and drove them ...But now there are a couple i wish i had kept ...

And yes the Chevelle was actually the first car i ever had ..I was a junior in high school LOL ..;....Tells how old i am

I loved the Montego. The VW Bus was fun to drive when it ran.My Jeep was a trip, not a straight peice of metal on her but I liked her so much I named her Rosie(after my best friend:ninja). My F 150(Old Blue) sounded better than she ran.The Chevette and the Escort are tied as the two worst vehicles I ever drove.
