Simple enough. :)

Christmas Eve, we'll be visiting family and friends in the area. House to house and such. Exchanging presents, cookies, and catching up on the year's events. End of the evening will be dinner at a family member's home. There's supposed to be about 18 guests. I don't have to cook.... but I'm bringing a dish to pass and some pies for dessert.

Christmas Day..... We'll get up early and open gifts. Have a sit down breakfast of bacon, eggs, toast, hash browns, orange juice, etc. Then I've got to get busy making my ever famous Lasagna. I'm having a few family members and friends over. Only 8 of us this year.

So.... What are you doing?

Christmas Eve is my mom's birthday. So we'll be going to church and having dinner and cake for her birthday. Then I have to go over to Troy's family with Abbey for awhile as they do a gift exchange on Christmas Eve, then probably to my dad's for awhile. Christmas day will be going to my mom's in the morning for breakfast, and then heading to my grandparents and then back to Troy's parents. All for food. Then coming home and opening presents with Abbey finally. :)

Christmas Eve at my sisters for a bone-in ham dinner and I'm bringing the home made bread. Christmas Day will be at my in-laws to which I am not looking forward to. I will bring a good attitude though. They can supply the bread. :D

playing chauffeur to everyone....but the day after Christmas I will be taken around...after a tour of a brewery!...going to wife's cousins tomorrow. (two houses) Saturday night a dinner at her ex-co-worker who is a caterer...we had dinner there last year and it was awesome.

Ditto

Last year was bad but this one is gonna be worse

Who ever said there was something like the golden years can take a flying fuck :thumbdown

I do hope everybody else has a great one. I used to love christmas day. It was one of the few times I can say that.

Those days are gone:(

You've got to find something again in your life to make your heart smile.

Be with family or friends. Don't say no to invitations from others to go somewhere or to do something.

Go to a church tomorrow night. Any one. Just pick one and walk through the front doors. You don't have to believe a damn thing..... but at least you'll be in a room full of people that do believe. Perhaps some of it will rub off on you. Open your heart a little and smile. Even if you're thinking those people are a bunch of phony idiots. They'll never know. ;)

Christmas Eve, cleaning, bottle depot, more cleaning... bed early hopefully.. please....
Christmas morning wake earlyish, go up open gifts help with breakfast then clean up then let Liam play.. wait for guests to arrive make snacks, be merry and have turkey... stretch out and watch movies... hopefully a nap for Mr.Man thrown in there for good measure..

Ah, tonight we spend with my mom. We're (well hubby actually) cooking a huge dinner of turkey and potatoes etc. And he's made creme brule for dessert. After dinner we will do the gift exchange, and the kids will run wild playing with all their new things while the adults sit and chat over some wine.

Tomorrow we're spending with my parents and sister in law and our nephew. They're all arranging the food though. And then we will do a gift exchange with them and the kids will run wild with all their new things while the adults sit and chat over some wine/coffee.

Christmas eve - Doing some last minute shopping, roasting the turkey then this evening a friend is coming over and kipping on the sofa and we're getting pissed while watching the Hogfather on DVD.
Christmas day - another friend is coming over in the morning and the 3 of us are spending the day watching all the Lord of the Rings (extended versions) films back to back, drinking all day and eating turkey sandwiches and christmas pudding.
Sorted!:thumbup

Christmas Eve - Going to my Mum's in a bit for most of the day, eat something there and then come home and watch some TV.

Christmas Day - Going to my Mum's again, give the presents out, open mine, eat food, then have Christmas Dinner, then relax for a bit before going home.
