Was nice here yesterday no jacket needed.
Today is going to be the same. .jeans and a short sleeve button shirt are the plan with a jacket in the back seat for backup.

Carp are a massive amount of fun! I used an 8 weight. Same weight I use off rocks on the coast. You need something with back bone incase one of the big fellas takes. I've found anything big bush and floating does well, same as wooly buggers. Just saw you're in Alabama, so I imagine crawdad patterns weighted well would do well

I have a couple of 8 weights. They are a bit lumbering. I fish mostly ponds and have caught White Amurs up to about 30 pounds on rod & reel. Never tangled with one on a fly yet.
