What are your thoughts on Private Religious School vs. Public School for a teenager. Is one better than the other?

It's easy. You can edit this and scroll down the page to make it a poll and select how many poll options you want to put up. I would guess in this case two, unless you want to add a Neither option or Home School option.
If I had kids and money, I'd still go for a public school. Any one I've ever known that has went to a private religious school came out an arrogant snob. Maybe that's just in the south though, I dunno.
Must be just in the south. I know all kinds of people who graduated from a private school and weren't snobs in the least.
You're welcome. Personally, it depends on the area that the schools are in. My family happened to move to Hawaii midway through my 7th grade school year. Hawaii was 50th in all 50 states for public school education, so, thankfully, my family enrolled us in a private school. Had we not moved, I would've stayed in public school like my older brothers. We lived in eastern Ohio and the public school system was great there.

I’m for private schools, they have discipline.
Imo, it depends on one's location and the ratings of the school . If and when, school rating is bad including population/race distribution, class size etc, then definitely private school . They're quite expensive though especially in today's economy

Hmmm.....I came from private schools - from grade school, HS and even the University I graduated from- I don't think am an arrogant snob

Personally, I am for private schools...especially with teenagers because the schools have more structure...IMO
I think it's a matter of personal preference, but I'd only ever put my children through public school or homeschooling, depending on the situation.
Depends on where a person lives, the quality of the school, feedback from a particular school. There are many things to consider.
