Re: What you thinking?

I'm thinking about taking a short vacation very soon....I need more than a mere weekend can provide.

a little frizzle frazzled this morning kimmy? well it's early am here; probably afternoon or something where you are or is it already monday there? i get confused.

i'm thinking i've had one very long ass day that started almost 20 hours ago and it's time to go night-night so i'm up again before noon. i know i give wage slaves a tough way to go, but it's days like today that remind me this hippie life ain't what it's cracked up to be either. i don't have the luxury of knowing that i'll be done in eight or ten hours of work. at some shows, i have to go as much as two weeks with 4 hours or less of sleep daily.

pleasant dreams everybody -- or have a great day if you're just getting up and reading this.

Re: What you thinking?

I think Andrei Arlovski is dead.
i think i have no idea who andrei arlovski is or, if you're right, was, so i'm going to go whack him through the search engine and find out.

Lol 8:44 p.m here, or 20:44 as I prefer to say. I blame my shampoo/conditioner I used, it made my hair look dry and split-endish :willy_nilly: Still Sunday night here though :)

Hope you get enough sleep tonight, I'd hate running on low sleep for long periods of time, a couple of days gets me down even.

thanks kimmie.

one of the upsides of being a self-employed hippie is that unless i'm working a show, there's usually nothing important enough to make me get up before i've gotten enough rest. it's what happens after i wake up that sometimes gets out of hand. hardly a week goes by without me pulling at least one 36 hour waking/working period. i had a week in december where it seemed like i did that for the whole week. 36 hours up, 4-6 down and then 36 up again.

there have been some very interesting psychological studies done on people living in a closed system with no clocks or sunlight available to the subject. it seems that they acclimate themselves over time to a longer than 24 hour daily cycle.

it's coming on 4 am here and if i go to bed now, i'll be back at it sometime between 10 and 11. sometimes i might even wake up by 8 or 9 on a morning like this and be plenty refreshed.
