where are you staying and for how long? we were there in 2007....

My family is a bunch of ridiculous gamblers so we go quite a bit.... This time we're staying at the Monte Carlo

Oh it's gorgeous up there! Especially in the fall when the leaves change.

I was able to get there at about 6:30, but it was a little too dark to take pictures lol. I did take some anyway, but they're nothing special. There was an excellent view of the campus as you come over the mountain. I stayed there until like 8:30 and saw it all lit up and such, very nice.

Spending a few hours with my niece and taking her a long walk in the buggy.

I'm going to West Point today after classes. I *might* be able to take some pictures. Never been there before, so it's a treat. :thumbup

The campus itself is in the town of West Point, which is located along the Hudson River in the eastern part of Orange County. Maybe about an hour from NYC. They have a museum and some extra stuff in the neighboring town.
