Good for your mom, that's awesome. I'm sure he appreciated hearing that.

I have Van Morrison on now, 'Someone Like You' to be exact, but I think 'Tupelo Honey' is my fav.

Yeah, he told her that he always loves hearing from people about how his dad's music touched their lives. Obviously Otis is pretty big around these parts...hometown boy does good and all that jazz. You ever make it up this way, I'll take you to the Otis Redding bridge and to the statue of him that's on the riverwalk. ;)
