I am trying to teach myself a little bit of basic Italian to help me communicate with my boyfriends parents!

Unfortunately I don't see a particularly interesting conversation happening anytime soon as I can only count to 20 and ask/tell the time. hmph

ever tried Google translation? put in any phrase you want and it types out the answer...I like it.

Yes but the translations they give are terrible! plus when I am standing in front of his mother and she is talking to me I'm not really able to get into google translate!

I've bought a little phrase book and dictionary and am learning from there, I have 3 weeks till we visit them so hopefully I can exchange SOME sort of conversation with her by then! haha
