I really hope so lol, I haven't texted him before (we use email and skype) so I'm not sure but I looked on Verizon and it said international texts were 25 cents to send and 20 cents to receive...I will keep looking for more info!

With mine international means over seas...and SA...

Call them might be the fastest and easiest way to find out.
