Well Hello there!

For years we have had a cat. She disappeared a few months ago. Since her disappearance we have noticed a marked increase in squirrel activity in our yard. A few minutes ago, I was in my toolshed looking for something. Moved a toolbox and a mouse came charging out and just looked at me then scurried undercover in the dark corner. I believe I am sharing my shed with the mice.

Twice this week we have had mockingbirds fly full tilt into our bedroom window. Not sure what is up with that.

I had one run across my kitchen floor the other night (well, I call it a rat b/c I just remember seeing a black tail as it ran across the floor). I lost ALL my cool kid points w/ all the jumping and screaming that I did.

OMG! That sounds like a video moment for sure. My wife is the same way. She will go out the other door and walk the whole way around the house if the cats have a mouse or chipmunk on the back porch. Sometimes they bring them back alive and play with them a while to show off to the other ones. I must say there are none in the barn or house. The greenhouses are hard to keep them out of once the heat is on. I put D-con down but then they stink like hell on the heated floor as they mummify!:tooth
