They live very close to where I used to live, it's a bad area now sadly and the cops don't patrol it like they should, it actually takes them at least 30 minutes longer to respond in that area for like break ins and such. I don't like to wish bad things on people I hate (the attacker) but I hope he gets what's coming to him.Douche will probably get the death penalty, and imo that's too good for him. Well, look at the thread here about Martin. Pages and pages of discussion about what allegedly happened. Whereas while this is sad, there's no real controversy or debate to be had. It's not that it isn't arguably a worse thing to happen - though tell that to the family of the boy who was shot, it's all about perspective - it's just not an interesting story.

That does not explain the media frenzy over it imo. It seems that this is a classic "X" minority got shot so lets hold hands across America, kind of case.

It's not that it isn't arguably a worse thing to happen - though tell that to the family of the boy who was shot, it's all about perspective - it's just not an interesting story.

I think Martin's youth is another factor in the media attention. Elder violence never gets the kind of press violence against youth does. If this couple were in a minority demographic I still don't think it would get attention like Martin's case.

A compared to white savage Zimmerman{who isnt actually white nor savage} shoots black child on his way back from candy store.

Point being even if Zimmerman was a savage why is it getting much more press...than the savage that attacked the old couple

Damn - some people are just dense it seems. The Martin case is getting the attention because Zimmerman walked away scot-free without ever being arrested. Martins parents felt this was wrong because there were too many unanswered questions and the Sanford PD and the prosecutor gave the impression they were going to sweep the entire issue under the rug.

The black community is upset for the same reason and have rallied behind Martin's parents. The news made its rounds through social media. I found out about it on Facebook shortly after it happened. Petitions began circulating and accumulated MILLIONS of signatures. Then the media jumped onto the story and brought the discussion mainstream.

Then, out come all the "outraged" conservative bigots making completely asinine "where's the outrage about this" where's the outrage about that" comparisons which are racist and bigoted comparisons themselves.

What's completely ignorant is that in nearly all the "where's the outrage" posts, the perpetrators were arrested, charged, tried and convicted. I guess being blinded by hate, racism and bigotry does that to them.

Most people making these claims can't understand that they are coming across as bigoted, angry and ignorant assholes and are bigger race pimps than those they accuse of race pimping.
