We sold my dad.

My brother had an idea to have Rockband competitions at our new coffee shop to promote the place and drive in some business. My dad wasn't so sure about it until I brought over my rockband tonight and played some stuff for him.

He got an absolute KICK out of The Who and their song. He was in his 20s when this song was written, brought him back I guess.

We ended up playing a lot of the older songs for him which he loved. I somehow got 100% on Bon Jovi's "wanted dead or alive" on expert playing guitar.

First he said he was proud of me, then told me I need to learn my real guitar. :(

LOL It's like sheesh... if real guitar was as easy to pick up and just jam, then yeah.

But these games are just so much fun I can't put them down. I get frustrated really easily with my real guitar. but on the other hand, I can't wait to shred on it and really impress someone.

So with me on guitar and jeremy on drums, we convinced him to have rockband, guitar hero, scene it tournaments, etc one night a week or so at the coffee shop.

My brother is going to foot the bill for another Xbox360 and a flat screen TV for the place.

It's going to be a fun place to hang out. I need to get some new pics, cause holy crap it's nice. He's never spent that kinda dough on a building, ever.

sweet. can he foot the bill for a setup for me too?... except switch out the rockband for the halo... and/or cod4..

i really appreciate it.
