We got a puppy!

And we named it Diamond. My mom wanted a shih-tzu, but I don't like hairy dogs. Then this brown chihuahua had got attached, but I wanted this one, so we got it.

It's a girl. She's only 8 weeks. Almost all she does is sleep. Sleeping right now, even.

Well, my stepdad went to visit family this weekend, and I have a feeling that he wont like it when he gets back... my mom doesn't care what he thinks anyway.

very cute puppy. im not a real big fan of dogs but shes adorable.

Dogs are great. I know I'm going to sound way too much like a parent here but a dog teaches you a lot about responsibility.

The other thing is that they provide you with great joy without asking for all those complex human things, y'know emotions, & when you're growing up sometimes all you need is a companion who listens & just says woof to everything.

Truthfully, I am a bit of a softie but just promise that you won't tell anyone.
My family has had many dogs over the years & when we lost the last one (Cindy) to old age, it nearly tore me apart. Funny how attached you become to the damn things.
