Not that they are a team l root for but l'm most interested in how Penn State will rebound after what turned that school upside down. As you know they got spanked in their first game but there is lots of football left.
Paterno's wife was in attendance at the game sitting in a private box which was part of the contract her late husband signed.
Really she should open that private box to all those that suffered abuse at the hand of that sicko that once was her husband's assistant coach.
It should not just be the school that takes the spanking from the NCAA.
Can't go after Joe for doing nothing because he died.
But to enjoy the " perks " of a deal arranged by a coach that stood by and didn't do anything other then "pass the word along " to his boss about the suspected abuse is just wrong.
His wife can sit with all the rest of the fans
The abused one's should get to use the box if they want to.

I would think victims had distanced themselves from PSU athletics but who knows. As for his wife, I don't know that she did anything wrong so why punish her?

Because that's pretty typical SEC OOC scheduling... get FCS or Sun Belt/MAC teams to fill out your schedule with that'll be easy wins and put you two wins away from bowl eligibility. Hell, Florida hasn't even left the state of Florida for an OOC game since 1991.
