my roomie is basically a bully. if he sees someone weaker than him then he will try to take advantage of that. last night one of our good friends kyle came over with a girl he has been recently talking to. he likes this girl a lot i guess. whatever. so my roomie starts hitting on her, knowing that she is here with kyle. i can see kyles blood boiling and him getting pissed off, but he is that type of nice guy that is a lover and definately not a fighter. so i pulled my roomie aside and told him to back off. he got all up in my face so i smacked him up a couple times. we get in eachothers faces all the time and nothing ever happens. i simply punched him because SOMEONE needed to stand up for this guy because he is afraid to do it himself. was i in the wrong?

not just for the womans sake, but for his own self esteem and self respect. hes just that quiet type that gets trampled on. fucking sucks to see. i try to tell him: dude, just punch him as hard as you can. you may get your ass beat, but fuck it, at least you tried. you can hold your head up higher.

but nothing.

I don't see the purpose of physical violence in this situation.

I do however think that you taking your roommate aside and talking to him was very thoughtful of you. That was the right thing to do.

It is a shame you live with someone that behaves that way. I'd find a new roommate. His behavior is very uncaring and selfish.

thats just how we are. i dunno.
hes moving in feb. and im moving on jan 29, then again like 2 months after that so no more of him.
