For those of you who don't know, costumes are a big thing at Warrior Dash. Here's some of the ones we came in contact with. I totally wish I had gotten a picture of the guys dressed like KISS!!!

Oh oh oh...this was funny. On our "nature walk" (i.e. our "hey, let's go traipse through some poison sumac" walk) Connie's underwire broke in her bra, LMFAO

The mud pit isn't actually all that long. At most it might be 100 yards. The only bad thing about it is that the bottom has lots of little sharp rocks and, at both dashes, I have torn my knees to shreds on them. I wore basketball shorts this time to try to combat the problem, but it didn't work.

Do you think it will help wearing knee pads (not the ones they have for biking- i think it's too bulky) but the ones used at hospitals ( found in Walgreens/CVS and use capri pants to further protect your knees? :unsure:

Oh man. That was quite the experience...and I didn't even participate in the actual dash! That place was ideal for people watching. Haha. Your friends were so much fun. It was great meeting you! Can't wait to see the other pictures!

People are gonna think the 3 of us didn't really meet if I don't get pictures from Connie soon, LOL I'm so glad you 2 got to make it. Maybe next year you can be a participant!!! I know, I know...not your thing.
I would participate with the understanding that I will be walking the ENTIRE way. I have no desire to run. It would be fun to dress up and climb over things though!

I told Connie she had this obstacle down b/c all she had to do was pretend it was Friday night and work that pole!!!
I don't know if this is a picture of one of the smaller walls or if this picture just doesn't do it justice, but the big wall you have to climb is way bigger than this picture makes it look, LOL
I liked the way the junk cars were set up here better b/c it forced you to climb over the tops. At the one in Georgia you could climb through the car if you wanted.
I promise to post more pics once Connie uploads hers.

Down. You climb up the stairs/boards on the other side and then slide down the pole on that side.
