Silence

quiet screams defining a deafening silence,
touching every nerve with no restraint
quaking shivers of lost emotion,
leaving no solid ground.to kneel and weep
for selfish reasons,
the pain of wanting that which you cannot have
truth taunting visions of tear drowned eyes.
surrounding loneliness smothering cries
withholding immortal jealousy that paints souls green
humble murmers of realized childishness
dripping from trembling fingers
pushing down another explosion of pointless thoughts
quiet
calm

ditto what intruder said.

and no thought is pointless. you had to think it sometime, and what better time than the present? (besides nuking the world, because eventually, that will happen... )

Generally the best pieces are written when you give permission for your thoughts to run amuck.

A wonderful emotional piece of work. :)

There's nothing wrong with emotional poems...in fact, I think the more emotional it is, the better, because when I read that, I was completely blown away!

I love the vocab you used =] It's totally awesome :)

You can just tell every line was written with so much thought put into it...and not just random words thrown together.

Have you thought of a title for your poem yet? Because that's the only thing missing. Everything else is perfect.
