V-day flowers

i would honestly like to know if women truly to love to get roses on valentines day.

roses are not my personal favorite. to me roses are just so cliche. i would rather someone get me a mixed daisy arrangement or tulips. dont get me wrong i do like roses but to me, i would rather este put some thought into my "gift" rather than the standard.

I actually do like roses, I know they're a cliche but I very rarely get flowers so I'd be thrilled either way


The only flower I don't like much are carnations. Some of them have very pretty colours, but they're petrol station flowers for me, cheap and not very impressive.

There's a florist here that has 19.99 specials all year long and free delivery in the area of both their stores. You sir get your flowers from the wrong joint LOL

i guess for me its a personal preference...i just dont go goo goo ga ga over roses. and like several people have stated...they jack up the price of roses right around this time of year and again for mothers day

If Este is anything like my moms man she has to nag him just to get her something for a special occasion or Holiday. Oddly he seems to remember Valentines Day.

Here places which sell roses normally for $25 undelivered are suddenl $40 or $50 for the same roses. Last time I had flowers delivered I had to take out a loan.

Agreed. My wife likes flowers of any kind. If it is roses she prefers colors other than red.
