use and size of USB stick

How do you use your USB stick? I use it for transferring files and to install software in the place of a DVD drive. Some people use it as a backup - what is your use for it?

They are now available in 64GB variety! What size usb flash drive do you use?

I use my own USB stick to place backup of my important files as well as music and movies. Unfortunately the maximum size of my USB devices is only 8 GB, but's it's not bad. Storing music files is not a problem, but there are movies which require me to have more than one USB drive.

Only for work and files. Have a Airport station with Mac for back up.

I have a 1GB stick and a 500GB external harddrive for backups.

I have still 8GB USB sticks because I bought an external 1 terabyte HD for backups, which is the one that is commonly in use.

I use USB sticks mostly for quick backup of a single file or to transfer files from one to another computer. I also use one to boot up in MS-DOS mode just to play old games or troubleshoot problems from outside Windows, and I have another bootable USB stick, but this has installed Slax, a portable Linux operating system so I can play with it from time to time.

Most memory cards are 16, 32 or maximum 64 gb cards . If you need more storage space then you have to buy terra bait portable hard disks.

I tend to just use my USB stick for transferring of files between machines at home and work. I don't trust them enough to use them as backups.

I have a 64GB stick and an 8GB stick.
