To borrow someone else's comment, "waterboarding is not a torture, so whats the problem"
Joshua Tabor admitted to police that he used a CIA torture technique on his 4-year-old daughter because he was angry she couldn’t recite the alphabet. (h/t The Political Carnival)
As his daughter ‘squirmed’ to get away, Tabor said he submerged her face three or four times until the water was lapping around her forehead and jawline.
Tabor, 27, who had won custody of his daughter only four weeks earlier, admitted choosing the punishment because the girl was terrified of water.

I don't think the point of the article is the waterboarding. I think it's the fact that he's subhuman and if he got granted custody, I can't even imagine what the mother must be like.

Don't blame him. It was Dick Cheney who made a publicity of waterboarding and this soldier was just a copycat.

I don't think this is a political issue, which is where you seem to be steering this discussion.

There is absolutely no doubt that water-boarding constitutes torture. But this act of blatant child abuse on the part of the parent is completely irrelevant to any broader discussion or topic regarding the use this technique against individuals during the 'War on Terrorism'.

I am not steering the discussion. I was tracing the source.

I hope they do the same thing to him, for hours. They damn well better take her out of his custody. If he does that for not knowing the alphabet, what would he do if she got a D....drag her behind his car?

It doesn't matter how he came up with the idea, anyone who would then USE it on his own daughter is one sick mother f*cker!!!

This one made me mad, can u tell?

The soldier could have used other forms of punishment but why did he choose waterboarding?
You had every intention of baiting... the article itself says why the fucking moron did it...

Bastard deserves to be hung until dead. He doesn't deserve to have a little girl if he is gonna treat her like that.
