There ARE cultural differences, and as an old saying goes, "never criticize a man until you walk a mile in his moccasins"

The fact is, there are many corrupt US and Federal law enforcement agencies who abuse power and push their own agenda. I believe the same can be said for any government.

For the most part, I'd like to believe that men and women around the world would just like to have a good life with family, and if cultural differences were taken out of the equation, we'd all be pretty much the same. You have good people, bad people, stupid people, intelligent people, evil people, sadistic people, power hungry people ALL over the world.

The US is far from a perfect country, but compared to many places in the world, the playing field is as about as equal as you're going to get due to the seperation of powers in it's government (between Legislative, Executive and Judicial). Our ace in the hole so to speak in my opinion is the seperation between church and state. That said, we still have battles to fight as a country, and we're still fighting them. It's slow going, but progress is being made for the equality of everyone.

However, since mazHur Butt began making contrasting claims, I began checking the validity of those claims and found profound contradictions between mazHur Butt's versions of Pakistani culture and ethics and reality.

My conflict with mazHur began with ....not him, per say.....but the initial claims he was posting about his culture being more moral and ethical in the treatment of women.
Researching this showed Pakistani culture was incredibly misogynistic even for an Islamic nation.
And it's culture of perversion is many decades long, long before the terrorist issues began in Pakistan with it's foreign policy of state supported terrorism as a means of influencing diplomatic relations with neighboring nations.

A Muslim husband has to support his wife and children...
except under some excruciating or typical circumstances when Muslim women have to work or contribute to their homes.

Those Muslim women, such as doctors or executives or who are constrained to work due to their professional capabilites or debilitation of their hubbies for reasons of disease,etc. do work and contribute to the sustenance of their household but normally it is for the Muslim men to fully support their household without laying any burden to work for others to feed their men and family
