Enjoying the Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK. Missing my lil girl who's gone away camping with Guides

Had a great Friday night out with a pic-a-nic in the park with work and they got to meet the new "lady thing". Spent Saturday with her doing lots of good talking and laughing. Then yesterday had a day with my eldest daughter and tried to work out birthday gifts for them this summer. Today going to have a bit of a lazy day before meeting the lady for a bit of shopping and maybe cinema later. :thumbup

You know I do miss Blighty, but having lived there for the first 26 years of my life I just want to try other places. The weather in the UK never bothered me when I lived there, but now, after enjoying long Spanish summers, it'll be tough to go back to the grey skies. I see the UK as my safety net, just in case things get too bad elsewhere...
