Mars is smooth creamy caramel & chocolate.

Crunchie is Honeycomb & chocolate which I read somewehere was unique to Australia, maybe it has reached the rest of the world.

My personal favourite is Snickers - I don't think you can get better than chocolate, peanuts & caramel all together.

yeah snikers are good but if you like the chocolate, peanuts and caramel try a Reeses NutRageous. it had everyhing a snickers does but it has peanut butter in it. so frigging good.

We also have petrol (gas) stations with 24/7 shops. Most sell sweets (candy) etc, and also odd household items you may need in a hurry, like soap, TP, infant formula etc.

We have 24/7 petrol stations & convenience stores where you can buy pretty much whatever you need.

We do have some Reeces chocolate here but it's not often you see it.

Do you have Kit Kat's?? One of the best selling choc bar/biscuits here.

yeah we have kitkats here. made by Hersheys who also owns Reeses. not a real big fan of them. there good but thats not one i get if i get candy which is very rare.

sharpies...yeah the malls here are pretty much the same no matter what one you go into.

Nope, never heard of it.. the only fast food places that are open at that time here are independant Kebab shops or burger bars catering for late night clubbers!

We've only recently started to see beef jerky in shops over here. I used to see it in pet stores for dogs... that's why I've never felt the need to try it!!

Phew a lot going on in this thread.

We have Kit Kat also by Nestle.

Kebab shops usually close around 1 in the morning but we do have a couple of 24 hour McDonalds - most garages (Petrol Stations) have food you can heat up in the microwave if you need a late night snack as well.

No international house of Pancakes which sounds like a shame 'cause I love Pancakes with lots of Golden Syrup not Maple (blahh, who wants tree sap on their breakfast)

I can tell you right now that no self respecting Aussie is going to be caught eating Beef Jerky. This stuff just sounds horrid - admittedly I have not tried it & they are just now trying to push it into our snack market, but I don't like its chances.

Beef jerky is good. But its got MSG in it which isnt good for blood pressure.

Another 24 hr breakfast place that I love is Waffle House. DO yall have such a thing?

IHOP is ver good breakfast as well.

We have only one 24 hour take out place in our neighbourhood, Bimbo's.

In South Africa we don't do beef jerkey, but we do biltong, which is similar.
